I have been seeing these "Press For Champagne" frames all over Pinterest and Instagram and I thought they were absolutely fabulous. I knew it would be the perfect accessory to my bar cart. I tried looking on Etsy for them and guess what? They are pricey! I saw them between $40 and $60. That's just crazy! So I decided to make my own and now I am going to show YOU how!
You have to make sure that the frame has a hook in the back to hang. (Yuck! Just noticed how dirty the back of that frame is.)
I tried looking for a silver doorbell because everything in my kitchen is stainless steel, but I found nothing like what I had seen in the pictures. I ended up ordering this one for $6.19 on Amazon and I actually liked that the bronze color stood out.
I used card stock paper to print the "Press for Champagne" background.
I put hot glue on the back of the door bell and then glued it to the center of the frame. I had some glue overflow to the edges but I caught it while it was still warm enough and I was able to push it back in.
TA-DA!
I can't believe how easy this was to make and I only ended up spending around $13! Doesn't it look perfect above my bar cart?
I love this idea. Thanks for all the house DIY inspiration.
